In this assignment we had to create an ad with Hawaii being the destination. We had a choice of two backgrounds, two subjects, two flowers and a logo to choose from.  I chose the background I did because the other one was of a volcano oozing lava in the night…it was too scary for me.  When I think of Hawaii I think of a getaway so this background of the sunset and the water was calling my name. We had to extract the subject and remove the background from the flowers and create a composition with them.

Adele’s song “Hello”

When I first heard this song I wasn’t too fond of it.  I felt like the story line was weak and all over the place. But now as I hear it over and over and over and over again I see why it’s so popular.  It’s the story of many of our lives at some point in time…at least if you’re over 30 and have ever thought to have been in love:).

Three Black Cats

This photo was used in my Introduction to Web Graphic course.  We learned how enhance the color of the cats as they initially were brown instead of blackish. We learned how to sharpen their features. But the coolest thing to me was how we learned to make things disappear and cover it up so no one could tell the difference. There were actually 4 cats in this photo!
